I've spent more than a decade working to help writers hone a range of academic and creative work. 

 

As a freelancer, I've directly improved the writing and overall presentation of dozens of pieces. As Senior Editor at the peer-reviewed Journal of Caribbean Ornithology, I also worked behind the scenes to overhaul the entire publication pipeline, including creating guides and checklists for each stage of the publishing process. Meanwhile, I led the journal's copy editing team.

 

Here's a smattering of the projects I've propelled to fruition. My contributions range from major restructuring and content editing, to purifying messy grammar and wording, fact-checking, and proofreading the nitty-gritty details.
